Now you have deluxe studios with split bath, tub and sleeping 5 as well as tower deluxe studios sleeping 4, no tub, but a dishwasher.

It may help spread out demand for each type as well.

I completely agree. I think the color scheme, room sizes and room setups are all to encourage a different demo for DVC buyers than they currently tap into.

I actually think this may be part of it. You can have a tub in the tower, if you want, but it’s gonna cost you.

Not a silly question!

I think the plans, thus far, have indicated no bus stops at the tower (ref: https://dvcnews.com/resorts/polynes...vealed-for-new-dvc-tower-at-polynesian-resort).

But there are plans to redo the Poly entrance overall, especially for buses, likely including updated bus stops near the existing bus stops: https://blogmickey.com/2024/05/disn...ntrance-to-disneys-polynesian-village-resort/

Adding that many rooms to a resort that already seems overly crowded without an adjustment for transportation seems short sighted imo.

I’m not a PVB owner but I do have a lot of points at VGF and I’d be ok with a couple percent dues increase for dedicated boats and busses (and monorails but that’s obviously not happening, lol) for each resort at peak times to relieve the crowding and wait times.

I find it interesting that the general reservations website for cash bookings describes the studio as having one full bathroom. There’s no mention that there is no bathtub nor is there a picture that would give that information. I wonder how many people will book and then be surprised.

That’s pretty standard for the hotel industry.

I realized that and then corrected my post. I really meant to say it’s the studio that is shower only.
