For all the concerns about PVB owners crowding out the tower, I do wonder if that will be true once the nearness wears off, at least for studios.
If the tower studios are smaller -- only sleep four, only have one bathroom, etc. -- I could see the Longhouse studios being in higher demand once the 'new building smell' wears off. Every time there's a major refurb, there will be a spurt of interest for a year or so, but that will leapfrog between the two.
For my part, while I'm interest in 2BR options at the tower, I would rather stick with a longhouse studio unless the tower studios come with a meaningfully lower
point chart (ha!).
