Is your spouse your best friend?

Ive often heard many people say their spouses are their bestfriend? Is this true for everybody? I dont consider my spouse my bestfriend. I dont consider anybody my best friend. I have very close friends, but not a best friend persay.

I'd have to say that he really is. But I do have one really close friend that I've known for a long time, as well as some very close friends that we hang out with alot. But if I had some news I was just bursting to tell someone, I'd want to talk to DH first.

My DH is my best friend. We were friends for a long time in high school, and after graduating before we even became a romantic relationship. I married him when I was 22.

Yes, he is. But I also am very, very close to one of my sisters and a very good girlfriend. I tend to call them my 'best friends' because it is a given that I am the most close to my DH, no need for a label.

Yes, I also have to say that My Hubby IS my best friend.... He is the ONLY one that I can tell ALL my thoughts and feelings to and he will NEVER judge me for it...

My DH is my Best Friend, he knows all my secrets and he loves me anyway. He listens whan I talk, and cares what I have to say. And he trusts me enough to tell me all of his secrets and problems.
You couldn't ask for a better friend than that.

Not married, but my boyfriend is definitely my best friend. All my female best friends that I had seemed to have vanished over the years after they have either married or moved. I still have close female friends though. But my boyfriend is truly my best friend.

Without a doubt, mine is. He is always there for me - to listen, to lend a shoulder or a hand. Sees me at my best and worse, my highs and lows, without being judgemental. He is my soul mate and I feel truly blessed to have him in my life .....well, 99% of the time !!!

My wife's mine, for sure! We have many friends both old and new, but I don't trust anyone more than her. We are equal partners in everything we do, from raising our daugther, to running our business. My life wouldn't be as fulfilled without her!

Normally he is my BF. I have other friends that I can talk to and things, but him I tell just about everything. he is the closest thing I have to one--the closest I've ever had to one.. Moreso than my girlfriends in HS.

I sometimes wish for a fun shopping buddy or something like that--but that always ends up being my mom.

I do have afriend that REALLY wants to be my BF, but I'm just not really that type of girl--I've always been a tom boy, and I keep most of stuff to myself. But I do miss those trips with the girls to the mall. Now I do that with my mom or MIL or SIL (she's the same age as me .
