The allears menu doesn't have anything saying lunch. Also, what is the last time you can make a ressie for Chef Mickey? Thanks!

Yes, it is open for lunch. We ate at Yak 'n' Yeti for lunch less than a month ago.

Thank you! Did you enjoy it? We've only done their counter service but I think we have an extra TS that we need to use in a park for lunch. Would you go back?

Yep, open for lunch. Last time there, my party of 3 justed walked in and got a table. We had seating on the second floor and got to see the parade go by.

And the food is great. Loved the Dim sum.

Just got back and ate at Yak & Yeti for lunch (we had the free dining). We made ressies for 11:30 and it was starting to get crowded when we checked in and the lobby was mobbed when we left. I would make reservations ahead of time or stop by there around 10:30 - 11:00 to see if someone is standing outside with a clipboard and you can ask them if there are any openings available. Last year when we were there (during free dining) I called Disney dining from AK for ressies and was told there were no openings, but when I went to the restaurant before it opened they were able to get me in at the first seating. The food was very good. Last year I had the honey sesame chicken which was good, this year I had the ribs also very good. DH had mahi mahi both times and really enjoyed it. However the best part of the whole meal was the desert, Fried Wontons. IMHO the best desert in all of Disney.

We walked in at 11am in Feb and were seated. The hostess told us it's a Landry restaurant, so they don't give all their slots to Disney to reserve. It was a mad-house when we left at noon! OMG, the food was SOO great. It was our only walk-up (had ADRs for all our other meals), and the food was the best of our whole trip. I would go there again in a heartbeat, and while I was eating the wonton dessert, I was a little sad knowing I wouldn't be able to have it again till I was back at Disney. WONDERFUL! (and I didn't even mention the babyback ribs - I LOVE ribs and they were some of the best I've ever had!).

We just got back yesterday had a late lunch there on Friday it was out of this world good. The lunch and dinner menu is the same. We ordered the Dim sum? platter as well. I had the Ribs and my husband had the duck it was one of our best meals. The fried wontons were out of this world.:goodvibes

LOVE this restaurant!! We were on the deluxe plan and the kids even got full adult appetizers! Soooo much more than we could eat- lettuce cups, fried green beans, egg rolls, and prawn flavored crisps. I had honey chicken every time (3!!) that I have been and the wontons too! Ahhh, I can't wait until January to have it again.

This thread has made me really glad I just booked an ADR at the Yak and Yeti. It is for 11:00 am so yes, they must serve lunch. I can't wait to try those fried wontons.

Yep, we had lunch there just a couple weeks ago.

I had the Duck with Anandapur Glaze and it was sooo good. And another vote from me for the Fried Wontons for dessert (although, the mango pie was also incredibly good, too).
