Is WL always full?

It looks like there are no rooms available at WL the last week of Jan. when we'll be there. I thought this was a slow time of year, so I was surprised. Is it going to be busier than I expected or is WL pretty much booked year round?

I don't know how full WL stays year around, but one possible explanation is that at every resort they take rooms out of service during the slower times to do deep cleaning, refurbishment, repairs, etc.

I'm not sure what is going on the last week of January, but I do think the WL is a popular place for young families since it is so close to MK. :)

If you are looking now for the end of this month, it is probably full. The resort has a relatively low number of rooms by Disney standards, and usually does fill up, especially since it is so close to your trip. Enjoy your vacation.

I tried booking for Dec 08 and the website shows no availability. We aren't for sure going yet, that is the only thing stopping me from calling.

I looked 2 days ago and there were standard view rooms available from 1/29- 2/2.

I remember when we booked it for December and could not get the exact dates we wanted, the CM told me it is very popular in the winter, becuase of the fireplace and cozy atmosphere. Keep checking back it is wonderful.

I've already got our room reserved, but I had to add a room only night because of our flight changing last month. I had to get a courtyard view for one night, and I've been checking to see if I could change it to a standard like the rest of my package.

When I check, though, it says there are no rooms in any category at WL for the entire lenghth of my stay. That's what had me worried.

I know what you mean about the WL seeming to always be full. I had the same problem when I booked. It started out that I had to book a Courtyard View bunkbed room when it was only the DH and I. I've since been able to change it to a Woods view and am hoping that a Standard room will open up eventually. We're going in September, which is also supposed to be another slow time of the year, but I think a lot of people are booking either for the bounce back offer that was out last year, or in hopes of free dining being offered again this year.

Sometimes one "bad" night will deny a whole reservation. Usually the bad night is a Saturday, as weekends seem to fill up, even in value season.

I am staying at WL from Jan 22-28, and had no problem getting an AP discount, though I booked a couple of months ago. I had my choice of all room categories then. I guess it has filled up - WL must be a popular place in the winter!

2 weeks until my trip - can't wait to get there! :)
