We are 11 days away from our trip to DLR! I got on weather dot com to see what the 10 day forcast looks like, and it says it's 97 degrees in Anaheim right now!!:scared1:

Is this correct? What's going on?? If is it correct, that's really unseasonable, right??

It does look like it's going to go back down to the 70s, thank goodness!

it is. Its been really really hot theses days. my apartment AC is on as we speak. it was around 80 degrees in my apartment. :| TOO HOT to sleep.

I would be surprised if it was wrong; it's about that in inland San Diego right now. :(

"Unseasonable" doesn't so much apply in SoCal. It won't stay like this though, I'm sure it will be cooler in a few days (fingers crossed)!

Currently, its 80 degrees in Los Angeles (35 miles away from DL) with a high of 99 today! So, I'd say, yes its accurate.
The great thing about the heat here (compared to New England, where I'm from) is that there is very little humidity, so you don't have that sticky uncomfortable feeling

Wow, what crazy weather all over the states! Here in KC, winter refuses to give up!! Normally in mid-April it's in the high 60s, low 70s, but today it's in the high 30s! I'm so sick of it!

However, I don't want this trip to be like a summer trip!! Here's hoping your 90 degree days are over for a while!

Until then, stay cool!

i agree with monkey monkey...this is exactly why, when people ask about the weather I as well as many others Ive noticed, dont like to give people ideas about what the weather will be like on their trips ..i know there are people on here who take alot of time and effort to get charts and graphs of the weather patterns but imo its a waste of time...weather changes here constantly and you dont know from year to year what its going to be like...I recommend people do the same thing as I do and that is start looking 10 days out (which I see you have) and then start really paying attention in about a week....i NEVER pack until a couple days before but am ALWAYS running things around in my head about what Im going to take if its cold or hot...Im going on the 23rd so we will be there the same time and right now Im practicing what I preach...it looks like the weather will be back down to mid 70's but I learned the hard way...whatever temp you see on weather.com, add about 5º to that and then your pretty much on the mark of what it will be like in the parks!!:thumbsup2

Crazy everyplace. In Idaho, we had snow a few days ago, and it's supposed to be upper 70's today. :confused3

Yes...we were there Friday, and it was SO hot! When we got home, I checked the weather, and no wonder! It was 95! It was 98 yesterday, and I haven't checked Anaheim today, but it's in the mid-90's today, and we are about an hour inland and usually have the same temps.

I'm in Costa Mesa and it's HOT. It was 96 yesterday.!!! We were going to visit the park this morning, but no- WAY too hot!!! I feel so bad for anyone in the parks today, hope everyone is getting their water!

It is HOT summer weather now but tomorrow and Tuesday is is really supposed to drop about 20 degrees! The report for the rest of the week is in the low to mid 70's..... much more managable than the 95 we have right now! If only the pool as warm enough to go swimming.....

Yes, it really was 97 degrees in Disneyland to day. Can you say HOT? It is supposed to cool down to the upper 70's starting tomorrow, and for the rest of the week, so you should have lovely weather for your trip.

Have a great time!

I feel for those in the parks the past few days UGH it as miserable!!! I was out at the Renaissance Faire in Irwindale and as in the 90's. Last week it was freezing and thought it was going to rain. Stupid weather eerrrrrrr

It's called Global Warming. :sad2: Weather.com is usually very accurate, imo. They've called it right on their 10 day forecast on the many trips I've taken over the years...Just keep checking and finalize your packing in the last few days before you leave.

As a weather forecaster myself, most forecasts can only be expected to have any real accuracy out to about the 48-72 hour time period. Even then, there is way too much going on in the atmosphere to have any chance at being "right on". A 10-day forecast is basically a peek at what computer models are projecting out for that time period, so you can use it as a general idea of what you may see for temperatures. I personally would not put any confidence in a rain/thunderstorm forecast for 10 days out.

I wish that was the case on my last DL trip in January. They predicted rain in the monthly forecast. 10 days out, still predicted rain and thundershowers. It rained almost every day/night that we were there.

I'll take 90+ degree weather over rain there any day! I'm from the rainy PNW and I love, love, love that balmy weather. Especially in the evenings. As long as it's not humid (never is on the west coast) then I'm in heaven!

I'll settle happily for high 70's to low 80's too, though. Pretty much anything at DLR is good with me. :cool1:
