Is WDW back to full capacity?

From recent videos posted on YouTube, many of the WDW parks look like back to normal capacity.

Does anyone know if WDW parks are back to full capacity? Thanks!

While knowing exactly what percentage of full capacity the parks are at right now is a best guess for anyone who is not an insider, no the parks are not running at pre-covid normal capacity. Some days they may feel that way but they are not.

Keep in mind that there are still a lot of things closed that would normally attract a lot of people (show, parades, fireworks, dining) so without out those things open there are more people out walking around and in lines for rides, which will make it look like it is at full capacity.

We were at WDW last month (May), and typically go every May.

We also have been to WDW several times since July 2020.

I would not call the parks at full capacity, but they are pretty darn close back to normal.

Disney absolutely has to stop admitting more Guests until all shows and attractions are back to normal operations.

Disney does not announce capacity numbers so there is no way to know absolutely although my guess would be 'no' as so many attractions are currently closed that 'full capacity' of people with reduced dining and attractions would make lines unbearable.

Even though the days are greyed out , it seems right after the park opens they adjust the numbers so they can allow a few more people in and the afternoon allowance for hopping + you are always guaranteed back in your home park for the day.
(The days will often still be green for APs during the week so I'm guessing they change that to anyone? )

I don't think they are due to limited staffing. Once they can staff properly and open most restaurants and shows then it'll be back at normal/full capacity.

Not officially but there is really no way to know. It is worth noting that there are no government-mandated capacity restrictions, any remaining restrictions are self-imposed by Disney and are likely solely due to staff shortages at this point. It is also worth noting that Disney's CEO recently stated that all parks are expected to be back to full capacity by this Fall..

It's really not much of a bearing on things at this point. It's numbers. Magic Kingdom for instance. It only hits capacity a few days a year. One of those is 4th of July. That full Capacity is about 100,000 people. However- during the summer the average daily crowd is something like 55,000 people. So- if right now they are operating at 45% capacity- that means they are still letting in up to 45,000 people. That is about 80% of what you'd see on a normal day. So yeah- they may be limiting things to 45% or 40 or 42, but in real terms, other than holidays- we aren't that far off.

Maybe not yet but it’s coming.

Now it’s just a matter of getting everything going again to absorb guests. Soonish!

I thought the same, I guess if you think about the shows and how many people are in them they really help crowd level. Who many people does just the Indiana Jones show hold for instance?

I was there a week ago and it was no where near the normal capacity of early June. It was a blessing along with not having to wear mask outdoors. Been twice since last October and honestly the tradeoff in lower crowds vs closed attractions/events was ok with me.
