We were at WDW last month (May), and typically go every May.
We also have been to WDW several times since July 2020.
I would not call the parks at full capacity, but they are pretty darn close back to normal.
Disney absolutely has to stop admitting more Guests until all shows and attractions are back to normal operations.
hadnt thought of it like that before but so true!!It's really not much of a bearing on things at this point. It's numbers. Magic Kingdom for instance. It only hits capacity a few days a year. One of those is 4th of July. That full Capacity is about 100,000 people. However- during the summer the average daily crowd is something like 55,000 people. So- if right now they are operating at 45% capacity- that means they are still letting in up to 45,000 people. That is about 80% of what you'd see on a normal day. So yeah- they may be limiting things to 45% or 40 or 42, but in real terms, other than holidays- we aren't that far off.
I thought the same, I guess if you think about the shows and how many people are in them they really help crowd level. Who many people does just the Indiana Jones show hold for instance? We are here right now. Went to Hollywood Studios today. If it isn’t at max, it sure is close. It was PACKED.
