We would like to stay at the Yacht Club during our next trip to Disney. I would like to have a water view (a view of SAB) would be fine. Will I get a nice view or just a glimpse of water--would love to hear from you!!! Thanks!!!

technically they concider anything that sees water as WV, so you may wind up with a stream, pond or quiet pool. FWIW, I book gv/standard view and have always been given an upgrade to WV, usually Crescent Lake/ BW with SAB to the left.

If you plan on sitting on the balcony a lot, then sure. For us, view doesn't matter.

We stayed GV in YC in June, and we could see the lagoon if you looked left off our balcony. That was good enough for me! :goodvibes

We had a great water view room and we saw the fireworks from Epcot. The room was way way way down long long long halls so it was exhausting getting to and from the room

Also had a nice standard room on the ground floor and I think we preferred that as it was very close to the lobby, the quiet pool and had a nice view of the gazebo

Thanks for the input..I do like to sit on the balcony, especially early in the morning (yes, even in Disney I wind up waking up early). I find it relaxing to sit out and look at water/pool when it's quiet out.
I guess I will think about it..hopefully I will get a code:goodvibes
