Is Via Napoli any good?

The pizza is ok. The salad served 'family style' is a horrible value, imo. We got it for 5 ($35 for small portions of salad) and it looked like the same sized bowl they were giving to parties of 3. Never again. It was a bag of spring mix, some chopped tomatoes, and a vinaigrette. There may have been some black olives. Completely underwhelming.

I don't know...I'm also Italian and have great Italian food and pizza here in Chicago ;) - and both times we've gone we thought it was pretty great.

Noisy? You bet. But most Italian joints are! We are a loud people....

Charred crust, soupy middle? Yes and Yes! Delicious version of a Napoletano pizza. We get the prosciutto...salty goodness....

LOVED Via Napoli. The Sangria was "eh" but I ate all the apple chunks and felt it anyway. Can't complain if your parents ditch the pitcher and you're 21 LOL! The pizza was awesome and the ovens are beautiful.

It's close- not exact, but close- to the pizza served in Naples in Italy. If you have a favorite 'local' style, you'll probably find it different and not comparable to your favorite. It's pretty darn authentic though (not quite soggy enough) so if you go in expecting that you'll probably enjoy it. Booths are fun, however so it's really a whatever you prefer.
