We have one day left on some tix for USF and want to go in February (Pres. weeK). Since it will probably be busy, I was wondering if they are still selling the coupon books with Universal Express passes in it.

Yes and no.

No, because they no longer sell the booklets.

Yes, because they sell Express Plus passes. These are just like the old booklets, except they are a card and all you have to do is show the card, with the proper date and park and you're good. There may or may not be the Combo version available at that time, depending on attendance. Combo simply allows the express to be for both parks, naturally, it's more expensive.

Like the booklets, you can only use the express access once per attraction, and you can go whenever you want.

Dark Marauder,

where do you buy it? At the gate or do you have to get ahead of time?

thanks. My in-laws are going Christmas day with USO free passes they are getting from a timeshare presentation. We have FOTL from staying at HRH and I wanted to get them this express pass so they can at least try everything once without standing in line for hours.

thanks!

You can *try* checking online, but I am unsure if they are available. Otherwise you buy them in the parks, at various locations. Look for the signs that say "buy express plus here" there are four locations per park that sell them and they are available at Vacation Services.

Depending on how busy it has been, I have seen them go from $10-25. It all depends.

Thanks, SH24, I called with my dates and they told me $25 for the dates I'll be there because, of course, it's HIGH season! And ... she says while ducking... I'M STAYING OFFSITE!! :o

No problem. Staying off site??? What happened?

Thank you!! We're staying offsite as well. Now I just have to decide if getting an Express Plus would be worth it.

One other question if you know.......

The last time we were at USF, my son was a child so the day he has left on the pass is for a Child. Now he needs an Adult ticket. Will USF upgrade the ticket to an Adult ticket like WDW does?

I believe they will, but you will pay the difference in the price now, not back then, and express is SSOOOOOOOOOO worth it. If I wasn't staying on site, I would still buy it.

Ripleysmom: we were in the same situation with a child's pass for our DD who is 11. We had a 3 day child's pass that had been used 2 days. It cost us $22.96 to upgrade to an adult for that one day.

I was able to purchase the passes online, by going to the universals sites vacation page, and choosing tickets only. I am going over Xmas, and was able to get them online for only 20.00 each. Try it. If I bought them when I got there they would have been 25.00. I have recieved them already and they are for the dates I wanted.
I was very pleased!!

Hi, JoiseyMom...

(finally someone who knows how to Pronounce!) :p

I did order them online in April but can't seem to find the option now. Perhaps they took them off the site? Do you have a link?

Go here http://www.universalstudiosvacations.com/hotdeals/hotdeals.asp?referrer=un4

From there enter your dates, and enter tickets only. It should give you another screen where you enter how many nites you will be staying. Enter the number, and then you will be taken to a screen with the ticket options.

I am a very happy camper. The Express Pass Plus passes I purchased, 2 weeks ago for 20.00 are now 25.00 for the same time period!!

Thanks, JM! The price for my dates are now $26 and change... :p

I think I'll wait and see if we need them. Thanks for the link!
