Google Maps is directing me to Universal Blvd to get to Royal Pacific from the east but Waze shows it closed. We leave in the morning so I hope someone with recent or local advice can comment!!

wanted to add we will be headed in on 417 north-any advice for the best way to Royal with current road closures?

It’s closed near the Universal Dockside/Surfside hotels. There is a small detour, takes a couple of extra minutes, no real effect on the journey.

We always take Universal Blvd to and from the airport and it didn’t make much of a difference to the journey.

I hope you saw my reply and had no issues.

I did and thank you for your quick response!

We ended up having to come straight back home with a medical emergency, it was a week! I had to go back out yesterday to deal with the unused ticket days at guest services and have yet to find "my" route, lol We are on the coast south of Melbourne if anyone has any suggestions for efficiency and less stressful driving.

Oh I’m so sorry to hear that! Hope all is well now.

I was hoping you’d find that perfect route for you. The roads around Sand Lake are still a mess with the whole roadworks thing going on, I don’t think we’ll recognise those roads anymore when they’re done.

We have found Universal Blvd to be the quickest even with the very end part closed, the detour takes an extra couple of minutes even with traffic.

Hope you get sorted though :)
