Is Uber available 4 AM? Heading from HoJos Water to SNA Wed am

Planning on taking Uber:should I and can I book it in advance?
First time user but I do have my account all set up promo code and All

Here's my thoughts, please tell me if i allowed too little or not enough time! Thanks!

I'm going fromHoward Johnsons Waterpark Hotel to John Wayne airport this Wednesday. (Flying to Toronto via San Franciso)
My flight is 6:45 AM, given it's international I need to checked in by 5:45 AM.
--- I figure I should allow 30 mins for check-in line, so that means arrive at airport 5:15 AM -ish.
--- I Figure I should allow 25 to 45 mins travel time ...so should leave HoJos 4:30-4:40 AM

Unable to speak if Uber will be available, but it's an "on demand" service where when you are ready for pickup you open the app and click on request a ride.

What I mean is, Being so new to the über concept, I just don't know if there's a possibility of drivers out there at that time. And, should I have any security concerns at that hour?
Also if it's that it would be so few drivers at that hour, should I & can I Book in advance?

Since its an on demand service you cannot book a car in advance.

Other than that I can't book Uber in advance, unfortunately none of my other questions were answered… I think I will just have to bite the bullet and call a regular cab to take me to the airport. Sigh!
