Is Tuesday the new Thursday??

It used to be that Thursday had the best show line-up around (all on NBC of course - although I think it has lost some steam in the last few years). But I have got to say that I LOVE Tuesday nights now.

Did any one else catch the series premier of The OC?? I think that you can definitely gage a show on if you want it to continue going after the hour is up because you are eager to see more!! That is how I felt about this show. Best new show that Fox has had in a really long time (I think Fox is still working on crawling out of the whole it dug for itself with those "When Animals Attack" and other crap shows).

And what can I say about Nip/Tuck on FX?? I think that show is amazing. It is cutting edge and provoking, definitely pushing the limits and coming at you from an angle that isn't as cookie-cutter as most new shows these days!!

OC and Nip/Tuck, 2 shows that I wanted to watch and missed! Darn it! What time were they on?

The OC is on Fox at 9pm EST, and Nip/Tuck is on FX at 10pm EST.

After the premier of The OC they said they were running it again on Thursday night for anyone who missed it. And I think that Nip/Tuck gets re-run on Tuesday at 11:30pm, Friday at 12:00am, and Sunday at 10:00pm. Hope that helps.

UGH...I watched the OC. It was good, except it was NOTHING like the part of OC where I live... And no one I know of calls it the "OC" except for FOX and people on that show...lol. But its set in Newport...so some of it is a bit realistic...I recognized a lot of the fashions from stuff people actually wear at my high school. But I only WISH I lived in a house like that...lol. I will keep watching, though...should be interesting to see their portrayal of my "home."

I'm with you supercarrie! Where did they come up with "The OC"? Puh-leeze!! I've lived in O.C. all my life and the first time I heard it was on the commercial for the show.

Actually, most people in O.C. refer to where they live as North County or South County...2 different worlds. I grew up in Huntington Beach, lived in Newport for a while, in college and now live in So. County.......DH and I are eyeing a move back toward the beach!!

I think watching this show will be like driving the freeways here. You just can't help slowing down for the crashes...even if they're on the other side of the road. I don't think it will do much for this little corner of the world. IMPO!
