Is Toon Town fun for a solo adult?

Hi ! I don't have any children. My DH prefers to not vacation anywhere, so my past 5 WDW vacations have been solo. I do enjoy being solo. Do you think that I will find toon town fun, or do you think I should skip it ? I will be solo in early December, and I am 51 years YOUNG.

The houses are fun to walk through once, but once you've been there once you've kinda seen it. There are some good character meets and Mickey is always there (with usually a lengthy line) but nobody you can't catch somewhere else for the most part.

I guess what I'm saying is if you've never been back there, take a stroll through and just check it out, but I wouldn't plan to spend a lot of time there.

it is cute!!! but I do it only when I have kids present.

there is a solo/adults only board on this site!

we haven't been in a long time - this might be a good time - Mother is 82 and this might be her last visit.

thanks for the reminder!

I like all the objects in Mickey's and Minnie's house - very cute!

It's cute -- well done for kids, but not really a "must see." There are plenty of things for kids at Disney that I would consider a don't miss for adults, but this isn't one of them. If you have plenty of time, strolling through would be enjoyable, but don't skip anything else you are interested in to get there.

However, if you shop for any kids, I do think the main store in Toon Town is one of the best.

Hope that helps.

I'm 35 -- and got to Toontown because my kids are small. We do love it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get there! If I were 51 and alone I would spend TONS of time in Epcot at the Worldshowcase.

ENjoy!

EVERYTHING is fun at WDW!! I've been there both with and without my kids, and while I enjoy sharing the experiences and memories with them, there's a pure joy at not being held back by someone else's needs that's simply exquisite.

I would check out Toontown Fair at least once if you have the time. It's definitely cute, and I really enjoy the Barnstormer. The train goes right through, so it's a handy place to get on so as to travel to the other side of the park while resting your legs a bit.

I think it's fun too! You just have to go in with the right attitude and channel you're inner child :earsgirl:

I also LOVE the Barnstormer! I think that's a great little rollercoaster and I always have to laugh as my DH and I squeeze into the little seats...

Have fun!

I always think toontown is worth a visit, alone or not. I love the barnstormer and the houses, it's also a great place to see characters. ::yes:: I usually stroll through there and then take the train to Frontierland. :)

I am usually solo for a part of my trips, and I always visit ToonTown repeatedly. But I love going there for the characters, as there are many places they do meets there! I also like checking out small details in Minnie's House, like the pictures on the wall and things like that. Toontown is a cute place. :)

Thank You everyone ! I am now 49 days out.

AladdinsPrincess - I love that saying;
"channel your inner child" Good choice of words !
