Is Tony's really THAT bad?!?

LOL. I'm still trying to wrap my brain around anyone running an Italian restaurant but you can't order a dish with Marinara sauce because the sauce is so bad.

Isn't that like some crime against nature? A break in the time-space continuum?

:lmao: EXACTLY what i've been wondering too. :rotfl2: If your gonna go to Tony's and just have a steak, why bother going there then? its terrible when ppl tell you to stay away from the marinara.

I ate there once last year and it was the worst Italian food I've ever had in my life.

It seems as if Disney higher-ups need to know about this and simply get a new marinara sauce recipe. I'm sure one of their chefs (from any of their restaurants) could come up with a tasty sauce. Mind boggling!

If you want to know if you will like their food, try this before you go: Make some lukewarm ramen noodles, put them on a plate and dump some ketchup on them. :thumbsup2
We waited almost an hour for our ADR, got rushed through our meal, and was astonished at how much this place charges for food that's below soup kitchen-grade. Put it this way: I wouldn't eat there for free, I wouldn't reccomend anybody else either.

Not my favorite place. There are lots of better places to eat. Such a shame. It's a cute place. Try Mama Melrose for better italian!

I havent eaten there since 2007, so I dont know if it really went downhill. I really enjoyed my meal there. I got spinach canneloni and it was very good. Everyone else in my party enjoyed their meals too. I like to eat at good places, so I know the food wasnt bad quality. I was very surprised to read how terrible people are saying it is. I was in Disney this past August, and didnt eat there because I got scared away from it! I was dying for canneloni and got it at Tutta Italia and didnt enjoy it as much as Tony's They didnt have it on Tonys menu anymore anyway :confused3

We are not super finicky. One of my favorite restaurants on property is Big River Grille ( and many pan it as being "okay" ). We are also a large group of 12-17 people ( depending on the year ). And we all HATED this place.

SO dissapointing since right there in the MK, we were so eager to try it.

Actually not "everyone". My youngest son liked the spaghetti and tomato sauce...

Worst meal, and service, my family and I have ever had at Disney. Seriously. We have eaten everywhere, and usually even enjoy the places listed as mediocre. Tony's was horrible. Basically, very sub par food, no flavor, no portions, and BAD service from our "too busy looking at my watch as I have a date after my shift" waitress.

We'll never go back, and it's a shame, as it is such a great location.
