Does anyone know if Tonic water is available on Deck 9 or do you have to order it from room service and pay for it? My Mom that is cruising with us likes Gin & Tonic and wants to make her own!

TIA,
Crissi

If tonic water is the same as carbonated water (which I'm pretty sure it is...), it was available at the drink station on deck 9 as of my cruise in December. It was either listed as carbonated water or mineral water. I used to live in Germany where carbonated water (called mineralwasser) was the water of choice, so it was great seeing it on the Magic. I would tell your mom to bring the gin!

Tonic is not the same as carbonated water. Tonic water has quinine in it, for a more bitter flavor, and is slightly sweetened.

Ahh. Thanks for the correction, Mindy. I would then assume you could get tonic from the bar or room service.

Yeah bring your own..........and while your at it bring the Gin too.........also make sure you check out the duty free shops on the islands......great prices on Tanguaray Gin and Captain Morgan Rum! Bring on board and enjoy!

Sorry, tonic water is not available at the drink station. It is available at no additional charge at dinner. Otherwise it is available at all bars/lounges, but there is a charge per 12oz can. It is no longer available on the fountain system, or so I was told in the promenade lounge on the Wonder in October. When is was fountain, you could ask for glass of it for no charge. I drink it daily on vacation for leg cramps.

I agree. The price of the Tanq duty free onboard is ridiculously low. I worked in the beverage industry, and knew the costs, and my jaw dropped at the prices. I loaded up on gin, vodka, and single malt.
