Is Tom Sawyer's Island open?

Is Tom Sawyer's Island still open on a regular basis? All the walkthroughs I'm seeing recently on YouTube keep showing it closed, and a friend is planning on going down there next month. It's their top "to-do" thing in MK, but is it going to be difficult to plan? Thanks in advance.

The MDE app shows that it was open from 11am-6pm today. We hope to do it one last time on our upcoming trip.

I was wondering the same thing. The last video I watched I saw a closed sign. We have never done Tom Sawyer island or the river boat. Both are planned for our trip in two weeks. I thought maybe it was closed due to the rain.
