He's DHs favorite. We saw him in Oct and will see him again Oct 2003. But is there any chance we will see him when we cruise this Nov?

We just returned from the April 20-27 Magic cruise, and Tigger was not on the cruise.....none of the Pooh characters were. There were many characters in the shows and sharacter breakfast plus many were in the atrium at different times for autographs/pictures....Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Chip and Dale, Wendy, Cinderella, Snow White, Dopey, Alice, the White Rabbit, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, Pinnochio,....to name a few.

I read in a thread that the contract with the Milne family specifies that they have to be paid additional royalties for additional uses of the characters, so that's probably why.

I had asked the same question a few months back and was told the Pooh characters are never on board. My DS was heartbroken. He asked, "Can I still bring my Piglet with me?" I highly recommend a character breafast/lunch/or dinner at The Crystal Palace at MK, they are all there. Also, we had breakfast at the Wilderness Lodge and everyone but Piglet was there. It too bad they are not on the ship though.

This is why Disney's newest Boat should be called the "Hundred Acre Boat" and feature "Pooh" themeing! Can't you see it now? They could reaname the Ice Cream stand to "Pooh's Honey Pot." They could change Flounders Reef to "Piglets Happy Place" and best of all, I could see Tigger all the time on the ship!!!!!!!!

I have been on three Disney Cruises and when we fill out the survey at the end, I always write in that they need TIGGER! So far him not being there hasn't ruined my trip or anything (I travel with 5 - 6 stuffed Tiggers!! Yes, I am still a child at heart) but it would make it all the more better!

I'm not sure if it is due to rights or just space for all of the costumes. They did have Tigger for the premiere of the Tigger Movie and they had Buzz and Woody for the premiere of Toy Story II. Don't believe they would spend extra to have the characters for just one day (as in the case of Tigger for the movie premiere). They had the Monsters premiere and no characters from that movie.
