That kid needs an old fashioned butt whipping.![]()
I was really angry when I watched just the first video. I was even more upset when I saw that the luggage was not kept in a secure area.
After watching all the videos I ended up feeling sorry for the kid. Yes I know inexcusable stuff was done, but I get the feeling that the kid is really lonely and sad inside. I hope he gets help.
The videos are currently being removed by the user. I was just watching one and within a minute it was down. I have a feeling DCL has gotten a hold of him.
I'm really disturbed by the fact that there are no security cameras or regular patrols aboard these ships. That surprises me beyond anything.
I absolutely 100% do NOT feel sorry for his parents. His parents should know where he is and what he is doing. He is under 18 and their responsibility.
Did anyone notice how scared the girl looked on the elevator? Watch it again....she looked terrified like they were going to do something to her. If I were anywhere near that elevator I would have beat the living crap out of this kid, 17 or not! No teenage girl should feel threatened the way she did on that elevator. If I could curse on this site I would.......the kids is a piece of garbage that will wind up in jail someday.
I could see switching up magnets as a joke.....kids will do that....but a condom on the door? Cmon! Dirtbag!
How deplorable....I feel bad for the parents. I would make him pay me back all of the money I spent taking him on these trips! That boy needs to learn some respect! I am glad to hear by the previous poster that Disney has recognized that this happened...I just don't understand why you would want to ruin what is meant to be a magical vacation for others...sad.
Hi Folks,
I know many have some strong opinions on this topic, but just wanted to remind everyone that we are all human beings with feelings, including this child who made such a terrible mistake. Please keep that in mind as we move forward with the discussion and be respectful of those around you.
I'm sorry but I do not quite understand. Do you mean that you feel sorry for for his parents or do you feel sorry for all the parents and people that were affected by his conduct?
His parents MADE THIS CREATURE. He was not an angel yesterday and all of a sudden "poof"...delinquent.
His parents cannot be so brain dead that they did not know that their offspring is a behavior problem. If so, then shame on them...shame on them for not correcting his behavior from an early age. I do not want to hear how they cannot control this big, fat, hooligan now at age 17, where were they "day-in and day-out" when he was 5 - 16?
By the way, where are they when this is going on in the wee hours? I know that Disney provides the atmosphere that screams "trust" but it is obvious that this "THING" is not trust worthy. Something that any parent worth their salt would have realized way before this and kept his rotund backside home instead of rewarding his horrific behavior with a Disney Cruise.
I'm sorry if I am coming across harsh, I mean no disrespect towards you or your family. My anger is in no way shape or form directed your way. I'm sure you would never raise such monsters.
As for "having him repay the money", I believe this would be fruitless. His demeanor denotes arrogance, a sense of entitlement, and a total disregard for what this vacation costs and represents to all those people he vandalized. That would mean that somewhere in his upbringing he would have been introduce to the concept of "empathy" and have it take hold. Alas I fear that that seed never sprouted roots. If I had to guess his parents are probably rich, have spoiled this child from the get go. He was probably ignored by parents who thought the best way to ignore both the kid and his outbreaks was to throw money at the problem and make idle threats that never were enforced because that would have meant they would have to be involved with their son and that takes time and energy. This was a child that was ignored which is probably why he craves negative attention from his parents and the lackey with the camera. This child doesn't come from a household that scrimped and saved to give their children a vacation of a lifetime. Children from that household would know the value of a dollar and cherish this rare and wonderful experience.
The job of a parent is the toughest job in the world. It is a grind day-after-day and I applaud all those out there that do it well. I know that the $1.59 Hallmark card doesn't seem like enough but as a member of the society that will one day be dependent on the members of the sound generation you are raising, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and prey that your children will be empathic and think of others first.
I'll be getting off my soap box now...sorry for my diatribe.
In part 3, approx. 1:43, what was the comment about someone still swimming wishing that they had given him a cigarette? Does it sound like he is claiming to have pushed someone overboard on a previous cruise?

I could see switching up magnets as a joke.....kids will do that....but a condom on the door? Cmon! Dirtbag!I noticed the girl. That's exactly what horrifies me the most about this video. Extremly disturbing! Things like this should never happen anywhere, period but it especially bothers me to see that happen in a place I would have deemed safe enough for myself or my daughter to walk around alone in.
I'm glad to see DCL is taking this seriously. Passengers need to feel safe when they are onboard.
