I think, deep down, this is the real bottom line here, if I'm not mistaken. And, I totally agree about not calling his company -- I would never do that, just as I would not want that done by my spouse to my company. Very embarrassing, and not appropriate in the least.

The next week, she handed out a new phone list to the entire department and sure enough there was my cell phone number. I told her to remove it and she told me she needed it in case she needed to get a hold of me. I asked if I would be reimbursed, she said no. I said, take it off. She did and no one at work has my cell phone number and no one will either. I have a land line, of which my company has the number and I also have a company issued pager.
