I've been looking at various tips for visiting DL and one thing I read was that 10 year olds can't wear a princess costume into DL??? One person had to bring their dressed up daughter back to the hotel to change. Don't know how long ago that was...is this true of DL?

The old rules (which were changed this year) allowed costumes for children 9 and under. The new rules allow costumes for children 13 and under, but nothing that drags on the ground (safety first!). Multiple layers of costume may be subject to search. All of this info is available on the DL website under "park rules."
