I read in the restaurant section that if any day of your trip falls into the free dining dates, that your whole trip would be free dining even if the rest of your trip is not free dining dates. I see that free dining ends on Nov. 15th. I am arriving on the 16-25th. If I changed my arrival to the 15th....would I get free dining for the whole trip?

Yes, if you arrived on the 15th then you are covered.

Just to be clear, you can get free dining for your trip if your CHECKIN date is a covered date, not "any day of your trip". I think you must know that since you mentioned switching to the 15th, but just in case someone else reads this, I don't want them to get confused.

If you are staying at a moderate or a deluxe, the amount to upgrade would be the difference between the basic ddp and the deluxe.
If you are staying at a value, it would be the difference between the QSDP and the deluxe. There is a chart in the link below listing all the current ddp prices.

To go from regular to deluxe, it's about $35 per night. Depends on season. Exact prices are in a sticky on top of the board.

Whether you get free dining or not, depends entirely on your check-in date. If you check-in the day before free dining starts, you do NOT get free dining. (Though you can work around it by breaking down your trip into 2 bookings).

I'm going to check in on the 15th, which is the last day of the free dining. I called and it was confirmed that my entire stay would be free dining. Their system was being "enhanced", so I have to call back in an hour or so to change it officially and see what my savings would be.

OK..I just called back and the CM I got this time said that this is just for Disney Visa card holders. I this true or should I try calling and talking to someone else? The first CM didnt mention that but couldnt change my reservations because the system was down

It's not available to the general public until Thurs.
Hopefully they will have the computer system ready by then.
