I think they'll only do this now if they're not busy....but in the past you could order that from the podium yes.

In the past (I'm thinking 3 years or so) you could do this.

Last time I ate there while I was waiting to be seated, two different people were told no.

Now the woman next to me in the resturant did get her leftover soup to go....

Disney generally does not encourage take out....
