Is it too much to do we currently have 5 day wp&m should we drop wp&m and just hang out around pool

I don't know about "too much", but I would never allocate two and a half days to water parks and only one to Epcot.

Agreed. Plus, where are you staying? Many pools on property are great, and you could save some cash on WPF&M. Do some character dining instead?

I'd likely spread out the park days more, intersperse resort days, and drop WPF&M. That way the littles can get at least one good nap every couple of days.

Good luck!

I think I would alternate parks and water parks. 3 straight days at water parks seems like asking for sunburn which would impact enjoyment of the parks. If you really want to do waterparks 3 days in a nine day trip I would do
Day 1 - Arrival
Day 2- Waterpark
Day 3 - Park
Day 4 Park
Day 5 Waterpark
Day 6 Park
Day 7 Park
Day 8 Waterpark
Day 9 DTD, Disneyquest, etc.

JMHO

Yeah there are some cool pools. My 4 yr old would have been happy to hang out at the POFQ splash area every day! I loved it because it was easy to keep track of him.

Epcot isnt really somthing we are crazy about really just future world
I'm not sure what a couple of 2 year olds are going to get out of two and a half days at water parks. It's not as if they are going to screaming down Summit Plummet. They would be much more engaged at Epcot or any other park for that matter. Two year olds don't care about the differences between a water park and a hotel pool. When my daughter was 2, she was perfectly content with the free Swan/Dolphin pool.

I wouldn't allocate that much time to water parks, one day for me would be enough. If you really want that much water park time, then I would spread it out over the duration and not to do them all at the start.

I think 3 water park days in a row is too much. With the ages of the kids I'd probably just hang out at the pool so it would be easier for naps. I'd also break up the park days with pool/DS days.

I think Disney's water parks are great & are very good destinations if you visit when it's hot. A lot of the anti-water parks people on these boards have never even been, or typically don't visit WDW when it's really hot, so take the "skip the water parks" comments with a grain of salt...

I do recommend a whole day at Animal Kingdom on day 3 instead of splitting it with a water park, however. 2 days at the water parks will cover them both, and AK has a lot to offer. I agree that one day is plenty for Epcot for kids this age. If you really only want a half-day at AK, I would spend the other half of the day at Hollywood Studios, or just relaxing at the resort.

I'm going to say there's no "wrong" way to do it. If you and your families love water parks, and that's what makes you happy, then spend as much time in those water parks as you'd like!

I've heard of water park hotel/resorts where people stay on multi-day visits. And Disney has perhaps the best water parks in the world.

That said, you could probably spread out the water park days a little more throughout the visit.

I used to never visit the water parks, but we went three times on the last trip (for an afternoon break) after how much fun it was the first time.

i personally think that AK needs a full day, and that DHS should be paired with an a.m. trip to a water park since everything (mostly) there is closed lmao.

you should also consider staying at the pool at your hotel like other posters said.
it also could save you some $$$

even though you stay at EPCOT mostly for FW, you never know if someone might want to go on the frozen ride and stay in WS.

No way should you spend 3 days at the water parks. You could probably spend 1 and bounce between the two.

AK is a 1 day park, regardless of experience.

MK is definitely a 2 day park for a newcomer.

EPCOT and HS are interchangeable in terms of 1 or 2 days depending on how important the park is to you

We are huge water park people, especially TL, on our upcoming trip we are there for 6 days not including travel and will probably go to the water parks at least 3 times, dedicating a morning before MNSSHP, a full day and probably a mid day break. Both WPs have much to offer, and where we are from there are not really any good water parks so we make the most of the ones in WDW.

I do agree the question for you is where are you staying?

Be aware that in early September you will likely have an afternoon storm. It usually blows over, but when we did water parks, we'd keep an eye out on the weather (I use the my radar app).

Keeping your eye on small children at a water park, especially the way Disney's are laid out, is to me way too much! Pools are so much easier to do this.
