Looks like a lot of travel time! Getting from park to park can take some time. I can't imagine going first thing to the MK, getting to AK for an early lunch, and then go all of the way to Epcot! We park-hopped, but did one park in the morning, took an afternoon break at the resort, and then headed to another park that evening.

I'll throw in my 2 cents;

Too much hopping! You will spend valuable time commuting instead of in the parks...make sure you have a rental car if you will hop this much!! I would make ADRs for where I am already going to be - you won't want to leave point A to rush to point B to eat. I am assuming you are on the dining plan....however, consider that it takes about 2 hrs to eat and you may like your schedule to be more flexible - don't be ruled by ADRs!!! Here are some ideas:

Sat Dec 13

Stay all day...you won't want to leave Magic Kingdom. Maybe you can do WCC this day and have Dec 14 more of a rest day... or at least you wont have so much running around to do on that day.

Sun Dec 14

Not sure where this cruise is, but your commute time from the cruise to DTD to WCC may not give you much at DTD -- consider WCC on Dec 13. Since MVMCP will be a late night, you may want to use this time to rest. If the weather is nice you may be able to swim at the pool.

Mon Dec 15

Consider dining at Yak and Yeti this day. I am assuming you are doing BBB at the castle -- if not, make sure to build in enough commute time.

Tues Dec 16

Looks good or do Epcot in am walk to BC and then boat over to DHS (make sure you see Osborne Lights!!!)

Wed Dec 17

Hop to your favorites and end up at Epcot....you can monorail to CG.

Have a great trip! It is wonderful at Christmas...watch out or you will end up bringing home a ridiculous Christmas hat!!!

Since it may be too late to change your ADRs and get good times, I would also suggest planning your parks around the ADRs. That is too much travel time and you may miss your meal reservations.

Way too much hopping. Don't forget to factor in that the drive from Mk to AK is about 20-25 minutes on a good day. Then you have to factor waiting for buses (up to 20 minutes), going through security at each park ,etc. Plus you are supposed to check in 10-15 minutes early for each ADR. Definately plan on sticking to one park. We definately hop but we go somewhere in the morning, leave about 2pm-ish, go back to the hotel to nap/swim, and then go to a different park.

Try to get more time in for MK...we spend at least 2 full days (this time we went there I think 5 times...inc 3 full days)

If I'm reading correctly, I think that the 13th and 14th are your most problematic days. Switch those around and you should be fine. (As other's mentioned, it will be impossible to be at MK at opening and get to Yak and Yeti by 11:30...Yak and Yeti is a good 15-20 minute walk from the front of the park). On the 14th, you won't get done the bayou cruise, get to DTD, and back to Wilderness Lodge by 2:20. The rest of your days look okay.

Just remember, it's IMPOSSIBLE to get it all in. I would get your kiddos together and come up with a "must do" list and plan around that. Scrap some of the ADRs if need be.

Thank you SO much for you input!:goodvibes I am going to take all the advice and tweak it a bit! I have a bit of the "fit it all in, who knows when we will afford to go back" syndrom!:lmao:
Again thank you for all the advice~it will make for a better trip!;)

Oh my goodness... this is WAY too much to be able to do in a day. I agree with others, you are going to be on the road traveling back and forth and RACING...I mean RACING around. I would plan to spend the day at one place till about 2ish, then decide where you second place to go is based on your ADR's. Trying to fit in 3 locations in one day might really overwhelm. My two cents. <grin>

I agree with the other posters! We're taking our kids on their first Disney trip in 3 weeks, and I KNOW mine would not enjoy all that running around.

Your kids are going to want time to enjoy the parks!!

We're there from the 5th to the 12th - here's our tentative schedule (still tweaking though - crowd estimates have me still thinking!)

5th - arrive noonish - MK - but early night since we'll have been up since 3am
6th - AK in the am (RFC for breakfast) - eve Epcot for fireworks if they're not too tired
7th - DHS am - resort in the afternoon - back to DHS for fantasmic
8th - MK all day (Lunch at CP) (probably a break somewhere in the middle then back again)
9th - Epcot am - DTD eve (dinner at Planet Hollywood)
10th - Casual day - resort hopping, favorites, etc. Fireworks at Epcot if we missed it on the 6th
11th - MK (dinner at Ohana's)

DH LOVES to play as much as the kiddos and didn't want to be tied to ADR's so we're doing a lot of CS meals. I've also read posts from others that say prepare to be flexible - kids are unpredictable!!!

Have a GREAT trip!

I'm glad you are planning on tweaking your plan. With that much park hopping you will miss a lot. Just remember Disney is HUGE. There is no way to see everything in one trip. Prioritize. Make a list of the absolute must not miss attractions/shows and anything else is gravy, and other things you can catch on another trip. Don't forget to slow down and notice all the Disney detail. We just got back from our fourth trip and it was the first time I really saw a lot of the finer details that make WDW so amazing! Have an awesome trip. That's my $0.02

Here's my $.02:

You're looking at it from a negative, "We have to fit it all in in case we don't get back here." A better way to think of the trip is, "We want to all have a great time and see lots of wonderful things." Less pressure that way. And the truth is, you'll see ALOT less if the kids and you are pushed to the point of exhaustion.

Definitely scale back on the hopping!
