Is this time ok for chef mickey's on departure day?

Hi there..I have a 2:30pm flight and am using Magical Express. I have a 9:20am Chef Mickey breakfast reservation...we will be at the Wilderness Lodge...do you think we have enough time?

Yes, I think you should have enough time. We usually do Chef Mickey on our departure day. I think we did this same time frame. I try to get as much done before breakfast and then finish up when you get back. You'd be back to your hotel by 11:30 and magical express should pick you up around 12:30.

We've never used ME, but from what I've read about it here on the boards is that they pick you up 3 hours before your flight time....which would be 11:30 in your case . Having a 9:20 ADR would be a little too close for comfort for me . For me personally.....I wouldn't be able to enjoy my breakfast because I would be too worried about watching the clock to make sure I made it out of there and back to the WL in time. When we stayed at the Poly in September, we had a 7:30 breakfast ADR for Ohana's and we got done in just enough time to go back to our room, get our luggage, and leave to be at the airport by 9:30 for our 11:30 flight out....and we had breakfast at the resort we were staying at....so there was no travel to and from . If you feel comfortable with the time frame, go for it. You could always arrive at Chef Mickey's a little early (say 9:00)....there's always a chance you could get seated early or get seated right at your ADR time .

You can always show up to the podium a little earlier and that may help speed things along for you especially if you are taking the Chef Mickey's photo.

You should be fine. Just check all your bags before heading to bfast and simply head directly to the ME area when you get back to WL. If you leave your carry on bags with the bellman tip them to be sure they're quick about grabbing them for you. They won't leave you if you're just waiting for bell services to bring your bag. In fact we had a 2:30 bus at CBR last year and it left later than that.

Your biggest wild card will be the boat between WL and CR. Try to find out what time you'll need to be back at the dock to get back to WL in time to get the bus.

Once you leave your room in the morning i don't think you'll have time to go back. So just have bell services bring your bags down before hand, go catch the boat, enjoy Chef Mickey's, catch the boat back, and then check out

For me it's a little too close. If your pickup time is 11.30 you'll need to be at the bus stop around 11.15. Count a good 30mns to leave CR, take the boat to WL, and walk from the boat dock to the bus stop that means you'll have about 1h15mns for your breakfast IF you're seated right away. Doable, but personally would make me feel rushed.
