Is this theme overkill?

My grandmother has decided to become really involved in our wedding planning this time. As happy as I am that she wants to be involved she's kind of going into theme overkill. I told her how I loved the monogram aisle runner she had made... so now she's ordered us monogram dessert plates, glasses, cake table cloth, boquet cuff, and we were already having a monogram on our cake. I'm just kind of nervous that it's going to be a little too much.

Do you think it's too much? She's from the south, and loves to monogram EVERYTHING.

I think that will be really pretty. I love looking at fancy monograms and there was a bride on here who had a crystal monogram as a cake topper. I think once you see it all together that you'll really like it.

as theknot said, monogram's in. but also instead of simple monograms, use logos or romantic wordings.

I think it will look great - personally speaking I think as long as "one" sticks to just the "one" theme with maybe a color running through then it doesn't matter how much stuff you have.

You are so absolutely blessed. My grandmother passed just before my wedding and it almost caused us to cancel the entire event. Enjoy every minute because it could be the last. I think it's precious of her to do all those wonderful giving things for you. As long as the monograms are all similar, it will be classy!
