Wow! A WHOLE lot of harsh replies from people going to the "happiest place on earth" to me! I guess I'll get flamed myself!
However, I say do it! Heck most of us can't plan 2, 3, 10 trips to disney anytime we want to celebrate any occasion. I know! I've been lucky enough lately to go once a year but I remember when I wasn't so lucky.
A few years ago my daughter (whose birthday was 2/12) marched in the disney world parade with her high school band. That year she didn't want a birthday party so instead I told her that I would buy lunch for her, her roomates and their chaperone. I went by the resturant at the Land ( I ALWAYS forget it) a day ahead told the staff what I was doing and paid in advance for her meal. When they got their she DID get the whole birthday stuff with ( I think it was Goofy) calling and them delivering a phone to her table for Goofy to wish her a happy birthday. Was it her 'actual birthday'? No, but it was a meal for 5 that the resturant wouldn't have made money on if I hadn't have done it.
NOW. . . BEFORE YA'LL START FLAMING ME PLEASE REREAD MY STORY. . I DID tell the staff it wasn't her birthday but I was doing it for her birthday. . .
but to the original poster. . . I say go ahead celebrate! That's what Disney is all about celebration. I wonder what Walt would think about the topic. . . probably just smile and shake his head

. Saying it's a belated celebration or that we're celebrating a little early is fine.

! Seriously, other than a few well wishes, what are you going to receive that makes what you are doing tacky and diminishes other people celebrating on their actual day
? If it makes you feel better put a little sign on them that says: "6 years late but we made it"!
Kidding, kidding, totally (almost, lol) kidding.
