Is this stroller too big?

I am trying to decide which type of stroller my DS will need for our forthcoming trip, at the moment we use a Jane Slalom - it's too big to travel with and a Quinny Zapp - it doesn't recline!

I have seen a really nice stroller however it only folds flat and is still wide the folded dimensions are 82 x 47 x 28cm. Would I be better with an umbrella stroller for the flight and to use on Disney transportation?

When our DD was 6 months old, we went to Disney and took our Graco fullsize stroller. We had the umbrella stroller, but I felt that the big one held more and my daughter was able to sleep in it. Which she did. But let me tell you, it is a job. We stayed at the Wilderness Lodge, and trying to get that thing on the boat (that particular boat we had to collapse it) was horrible. The baby had to come out obviously, but so did everything else that we were carrying underneath as well.

Do this all day long on each bus you go on as well. It really gets old...fast! It was nice for her to sleep in but that was it. After that trip, we went home and invested in a nice stoller that she could recline in that was about the size of an umbrella stroller and very easy to collapse.

Now when we go, we don't even let her nap in it anyway. We have learned that going back to the room and away from all of the stimulation for naps makes for a better and nicer 2 year old.

I don't know if I answered any questions, but doing disney with a large stroller is so much harder than day to day use.

From the time I found out I was pregnant with my daughter(1 year ago) I have been on a quest for the perfect disney stroller(sick i know but we love disney and I wanted the right stroller to make are trip less of a hassle) I have seen many very nice light weight strollers, the aria, volo, and many others, I already have a jeep stroller(to big to use on the buses) and a graco fullsize stroller(again to big to deal with getting on and off the buses) Last week I decided on what I think is the perfect disney stroller for us and that's a chicco C5 if folds like an unbrella stroller, has a small basket, reclines, has high handles,it doesnt have a cupholder but i will fix that by buying a add on. the basket is a little small but i have a sack bag that i plan on using instead of a diaper bad they are lighter weight and it can go right over the 2 handle bars and hang from it. the C5 is $89.99 which isnt bad.

The Quinny Zapp is currently the smallest folding stroller around so no, that is not too big! It is a little bit bigger when unfolded and in use than a Maclaren type stroller but no where near a full size stroller, sort of like a P3. Folded, you won't find a smaller one. You could fold a Zapp and hold it in your lap on the bus without it bumping anyone else. THat said, the fold is SMALL but I never said "easy fold." ;) Easier with practice though so don't buy one new and take it without figuring it out at home first!
