Is this sentence punctuated properly?

I've asked the Magic 8 Ball for you and it responded with, "Definitely!"

English / Language Arts class was a long time ago for me. I'm not 100% if the comma is needed after "with".

The comma is not necessary there. You could replace it with a colon and it would be okay, though.
 
Either of these would be okay then?

and /or

I've asked the Magic 8 Ball for you and it responded "Definitely!"

The second written one is the best choice. No colon or comma.
 
Thank-you! Obviously I've been out of school way too long! I seem to have forgotten all the punctuation rules.
 
I don't understand why you wouldn't need a comma. The punctuation looked fine to me. The only thing wrong was the use of "with."
