Can I get a hand held shower head in a regular room at POFQ? I had a hard time with the regular shower head last month at CBR, mostly because of fear of falling in the tub. I feel weird asking for a tub seat, but feel more comfortable, since I have been known to fall frequently. I didn't have an issue before, because we had these things requested for mom, but since she has passed away, we won't be needing the roll-in shower any more.

Help Please

I know that at any of the Resorts you can get a shower seat from Mousekeeping. I'm sure that Engineering at any of the Resorts would be able to temporarily replace the shower head with a hose. You might still need to reserve an accessible room but with grab bars at the tub instead of a roll-in shower.

As Cheshire Figment said, you can request a shower chair; don't feel bad about requesting one, that's what they are for.
You can also request a handicapped accessible room with a tub. Here's a picture of one (this one is at SSR).

You could call the Special Needs number (on the disABILITIES FAQs thread) to ask about changing the regular shower head with a hose. We have switched shower heads at home. It's pretty simple.
