Is this possible (room category)??

We changed our vaca dates after the 7 month mark, so we can only get BCV for the first weekend. Then we're moving to OKW for a week. We're on the WL for the week at BCV, but we've been there since Feb, so I don't see it happening.

I called to see about changing our BCV studio to OKW studio so we wouldn't have to change rooms. She said that our week long ressie was in the not near HH room category, but the only studios she had for that weekend was in the near HH category, so we'd still have to move.

Now there is plenty of cash availablity for that weekend at OKW. Is it possible that when we check in, they can put us in a studio in the not near HH category that didn't sell for cash, even though it's not our category? I'm sure technically they can't, but I'm wondering if it could happen at the front desk. What do you think?

On the one hand, I'd HATE to not go to BCV this year. But for only two nights, then having to move (then moving again to ASSp for free dining! ), I'm thinking that staying at OKW the first nine nights wouldn't be a better plan, even if we did have to switch rooms.

Certainly wouldn't hurt to ask at the front desk. I'm sure they will try to accomdate your wish not to move.

If you haven't already waitlisted for the OKW category you want (studio weekend), I'd sure do that. Chances ae good it will come through, IMHO.

But first, decide if you want the whole thing at BCV or the whole thing at OKW. You don't want the week at BCV to come through and the weekend at OKW!
