Hey all,

After reading a few posts realted to this I had a few other questions but once a post hits page two or three questions seemed to get buried. Anyways I would like to have something waiting in the rooms for our group when we arrive. Being I just paid tuition and have spen $300 in books and still don't have them all when classes start next week :sad2: ... Sorry I get off point, I will probably be buying these items here.

Is it possible to mail these to the resort ahead of time? If so what should I put on the package? When should I mail it without having to spend a fortune on next day air? Last what can you buy outside of WDW that would appeal to 2 guys, 26 and 20 and 3 girls 22, 25, and 25. I know that they 22yo loves the princesses, one 25yo loves stitch and cinderella, the other loves the classic characters and Beauty and the Beast but I have no idea about the guys :confused3
Thanks!
Minnesota

PS we won't be going to the water parks or pool much, we are commandoing through the parks as we only have 4 days and we always commando tour. :teeth:

I can't help you with what to buy, but I can answer your other questions.

You would address the package to the name that the reservation is booked under and the /GUEST (so they know they are looking for a guest in the resort). The put your check in and check out dates and then the address for the hotel.

Ups, Fed Ex and DHL will deliver directly to the resort front desk (the US mail goes to a PO Box, and then gets sorted so that takes longer). The package will be held at the front desk for your arrival. They will not deliver it to the room until you have arrived and are in the room to accept the package. You can take it with you from the front desk when you check in, have it delivered with your luggage via bell services, or ask for it to be held until you call and have it delivered once you are in the room.

As far as when to send it. Ground service for UPS and Fed EX is usually 5-7 buisness days. The front desk will hold the package for you as until you arrive, so it is not a big deal if it arrives a few days ahead of you. I would say send it out a week ahead of you and you should be fine.

We do this sometimes for work with conferences. The best way is to work with the Bell Captain/Concierge desk to let them know of the packages. They are usually happy to accommodate and give you information on how to go about the process.

Once the packages are delivered as you like, then tip generously once you arrive.

They won't be in the room waiting, if that's what you want. If you mail them down, there will be notation in your file when you're checking in and you'll get the package then.
