I received a PIN in the mail yesterday for 35% off. It is good for most dates except for May 31 - August 17th.

If I read it correctly it is for hotel only?

Thoughts?

Sounds right. I imagine it is also UP TO 35% off ?

I think the only restriction was no Villas at Grand Floridian and no Mermaid Room (whatever that is).

When I get home I will post up exact details. Hoping it might be useful as we would love to go on another Florida Vacation soon.

Sounds like the standard pin that is going on right now and has been for awhile. It is a good deal if there is something there for you. The amount of the discount will vary up to 35% depending on if you want a value resort (less discount) or a deluxe (more discount). Also, will those dates work for you. Some availability will also be limited other than what they say based on if people have already reserved under this discount.
For example, I booked almost immediately when this pin first was issue at least a couple months ago. I wanted some of the August dates available after the 17th and I wanted to use the maximum discount to try a deluxe. When I called , my first choice resort and exact room category were not available (whether this be because possibly others have already booked before me for however many rooms of this category were set aside for this rate). However, I was able to get a similar resort (BC/YC) in the category (garden view) that I wanted. So, happy me with a good savings.
