Is this normal when booking with developer points?

I called this am to make a ressie at SSR using our developer points. I am booking a studio for 10 nights. I knew that I would only be able to book 7. The MS CM told me that I could call back in 3 days and make a different ressie for those final 3 nights. She said that I couldn't add to my 7 night ressie. She also told me that I would receive a confirmation # via e-mail or snail mail, my choice. Does this sound right? Also, she told me I could not put in any request (section/view) until I had my confirmation #. Thanks for any insight!

As far as the section request, yes you need the conformation #. When I booked, CM told me I should have a # in 7-10 bussiness days and could call back or by mail in 2-3 weeks. My understanding is you could call everyday to add nights to a ressie, but what the CM told you would also work.

Developer points reservations are done manually not on the computer since they come from a different pool of points so what you were told is prolly correct
