Is this my reservation number?

I had originally booked through Disney for my upcoming Feb trip but I got a much better deal through Hotels.com yesterday so I am going to cancel my original reservation. I got a confirmation number from hotels.com that is 12 digits beginning with a 1. I tried to enter that number on MDE and it couldn't find my reservation. I just booked last night so I am wondering if
1) that's not the correct number (in which case I need to call hotels.com) or
2) is it just too soon for Disney to have it in their system yet?

Look for something called a Hotel Confirmation or Hotel Reference Number. It may be only six digits and may contain numbers and/or letters.
