Is this good? what to do......opinions please!

me and mom flying out of michigan (either flint or detroit, depending on fare) sept 25th-30th. right now i'm finding $202.00 & up, non-stop.

is this a good fare for this time of year, or should i wait? i did sign up for ding yesterday....

what kind of deals have you gotten for this time? should i wait?

Spirit and airtran are both showing 89 each way for those dates right now. I have found Airtran cheaper out of detroit than flint for our last few trips. We are booked on USair for Sept 25-Oct2 for 49 each way but they are connecting flights through Charlotte. You can get USair down for 49 through Clt for total 136.60 and come back nonstop on Airtran for 89 each for a total 195.80. Total for 2 would be 332.40 or 166 each.I am always happy to get less than 200 and really happy to get less than 150. I can never seem to get those 8 cent spirit fares to work. Best I ever get with them is 69 each way.

I've seen alot better fares for the end of Sept. If memory serves, I think it was running around $160 out of FNT last year.
