I did not work union, so it may be a different story, but I was 7 months pregnant and I worked in a home with developmentally disabled adults and I was a manager and there was a woman who would target me and try to push me hard often, and my office was in the basement and she would run to the basement door to try to push me down the stairs- daily. I got concerned and talked to my boss about at least not working on site and she told me that I could take family medical leave at no pay of course, but that she did not have to accomidate me just becasue I was pregnant. I finally just asked the direct care staff to protect me from this woman. It did not seem fair to me either! I was healthy and not restricted though.
