My calendar is essential! If it is not on there, I will forget it is happening!!

I know! That's why I have a big desk calendar in the kitchen!

Ugh, the calendar battle. We use Cozi online calendar the free version). It will notify affected family members of new entries and send reminders etc. Now, if only I could get everyone else to use it consistently.

See, I can't guarantee that everyone would look at it--myself included. At least with the calendar on the wall, everyone walks by it, multiple times a day. No excuses! I don't even care if they highlight--if there's writing, I can see it from here (if I squint--and if it's legible, which is iffy.)

I'm the same way. I have a wall calendar hung in the kitchen that I write on and that others can write on. I look at it every morning and the rest of my family knows to look there to see what the schedule looks like for the day. I prefer that to the online calendars.

I'm the opposite. I will often need to consult the calendar when I am not at home. If all I had was a wall calendar, I would be forever forgetting to update it.

The reason I like online calendars is because you can set it to remind everyone multiple times if you want. I have mine set up to remind a day before, the day of and an hour before. (If it’s something that’s a long way out I might have it remind me a month/week before) If you put in an address it will even tell you when it’s time to leave, give you a map and directions. Doing it this way no one has the excuse of “I didn’t see it.”

I know a lot of people who use them and love them! I just can't break my old school habit I do encourage my kids to set reminders for things on their phones though.
