Is This Even Possible?

We will be in Animal Kingdom for May 30th. This is day three that Pandora will be open.

We have a 7:00 Tusker House ADR and my question is with crowd levels expected to be extraordinarily high, is it a possible scenario that if we take a mid day break and try to come back for our reservation that the park will be a capacity? Do we lose that reservation in that scenario?

I seriously doubt that TBH...

AK, I believe can accommodate up to 60,000 guests & I really don't see AvatarLand adding a drastic number of people like that. Will there be more people sure, but I don't think enough to worry about closures.:confused3.

Possible? Yes. As long as there aren't factors that make something impossible (like a grasshopper lifting a house), given enough chances, it will happen.

Now how likely is it? That nobody knows, yet.

As long as you have an active dining reservation, you will only get denied entry at a level 4 closure, or an emergency closure (hurricane or God forbid a national crisis).

Until the statisticians see how Pandora causes foot traffic to rise in the first day or two, they won't know what day 3 will bring.

If I had to hazard a guess I'd say the chances are very very low. It's not 0; there's always a chance that a million people will want come at the same time. I just don't think it will happen.

This is my opinion too...odds are pretty small that so many people will be at AK on a Tuesday afternoon in May, a day that's not a holiday, that the park needs to implement phased closures. I wouldn't worry or change your plans because of this.

We have the same situation on June 6th and that didn't even cross my mind. The fact that Pandora is open until 1am, we are definitley taking a mid day break. Then returning later for Tusker House ADR. I would be stunned if AK got to that level. But with Pandora basically being situated in the area of Camp Minnie Mickey, I'm prepared for the fact that it is going to be one giant smush all day long.

You'll have an ADR so you get in up until a full on phase 4, whole park shut down, closure..which has only happened a handful of times since wdw has been open.

You'll be fine to get in. And it's very unlikely that AK will reach any phased closure at all
