Here's another one. It sort of looks like Tomorrowland, but again, not enough of the background showing for me to be sure. I can't place the exact location.

(These are my MIL's photos. She thinks they were taken at Disney.)

I can't see enough of the background to tell. It would have been somewhere around 1987 - 1989, I think. It looks like the shrubs say ZOO but maybe it's a 200?
LOL that is true! The ponchos lead me to believe Disney! Ponchos only seem to be acceptable (and worn) at Disney, at least from what I think. lol
Ah, maybe. My MIL says that's the castle in the background, but it does not look like the castle to me. It's way too close to the flower bed for one and the positioning just doesn't seem right. But then I wasn't there in that time frame, so I don't know what might have changed since then. This one looks like Epcot entrance where the PP photogs are.

Definitely Tomorrowland. You can see the PeopleMover train right at the top center.

Are you sure these were in the 80's?
The reason I ask this is because if it was near 1976, that would have been the bicentennial of the United States of America, hence the 200 hedge explained.
The clothing and hair definitely isn't 1970s.
It could be in celebration of the Indy 200, but that was 1996, and the style doesn't look to be from the mid-90s, either.
not sure if they would have given it its own topiary, but the 200 millionth visitor passed through sometime around the late 80s

And with the topiary clue, we have it: 1988. (I don't know if we can post links to another forum, but "topiary" was the word that helped me google the right answer. )
