Is this chicken still ok?

OK I am apparently missing something... LOL

Well since my mom is sooo sensitive about these things I would say no don't eat it. My mom won't eat like ham, bologna, atc. That has been opened for a day. I open the package make lunches and basically that is all that gets used of the package. Anyway. that is just me.

Go on what you think makes you feel comfortable.

Like I said my mom has made me grow up weird so I cringe when people say they would still eat it....

You do know that it is completely irrational to throw out processed lunch meat that has been opened for 1 day, right? Around here, a package of bologna will last my son for lunches all week, as long as it's in a sealed container and refrigerated.

At the very least, you could put it in a zip lock and freeze it, so you can get one more use out of it (to meet your standards).

Oh, where to begin...the Tag Fairy just has sooo much potential here! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Taken out of context, I could have sooo much fun with these! I am in a goofy mood so these just struck my funny bone :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I would think so, yes. It takes two days or so just for the breasts to defrost in the fridge.

as long as they are still Pink and don't Smell funny

If they are slimy at all, throw them out.
I know several acquaintances I could apply this sentence to!

I think you are on the side of being too long. I would not eat it.
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

OP - The chicken is probably fine. But, when in doubt throw it out!

Ok. They were still pink, weren't slimy and didn't stink ;) so they are being cooked as we speak :rotfl2: If you don't see me here anymore you will know they were bad :lmao:

All I can say is WOW! You really throw away a package of lunchmeat after one day? What if you want a sandwich two days in a row? Do you buy two packages and throw each one away after you make your sandwich? That is so wasteful. I hope you don't eat lunchmeat very often.

I hate smelling meat. I don't trust my nose. I get everyone else in the house to take a whiff as well. By then we've all got our noses crinkled with that look of doubt and feeling queasy.:rotfl: If you don't toss it, make sure your toilet paper supply is fully stocked. :teeth:

When in doubt, throw it out. :)

I don't know if it's good or not, but I wouldn't want to find out the hard way that it wasn't.

I wouldn't eat it.

I bought a whole chicken on Sunday, not frozen. Threw it in the refigerator and forgot it until last night. I cut it up, made fried chicken, ate two pieces and am happily here to tell the tale. I'm sure you'll be fine!

Oh my God, I just clicked on this thread thinking the title was "Is this Children still ok?" and I thought it was going to be another parody of GWB! I must have politics on the brain! (And I'm not even American!) Gave me a laugh anyways.
