If I only eat 1 or 2 meals a day. I usally eat two meals a day, but lately sometimes I only eat once a day( because I am really not hungry at all). I don't eat breakfast, what I do is have a small lunch and then for dinner I usally eat a little more. I have been done this before when I was in school and now I am 24 and I am doing it again. I find that I am losing wait from all of this( which is a good thing), but I am not sure if this is good for me to be doing. I don't feel sick at all. But sometimes I get really stressed out or really sad and that's when I find myself not eating as much( but have a feeling that this is some what normal for some people anyway). Has anyone else had a similar experience to this?

I have been through times like that also. Try to eat a little bit more so that you do not get run down and get sick - that comes from experience. Hope you start feeling better soon.

I have found in the summer, I tend to eat less. The heat and humidity just literally kills my appetite.

Although not everyone would agree, I still think breakfast is the most important meal of the day. :sunny: I have some sort of protein for breakfast everyday, and it keeps my energy up.

Thanks, Chell. And I will try to eat more if I can.

doxdogy, I am glad I am not the only one.

mickey65, you are right about breakfast being the most important meal of the day. I use to eat breakfast all the time, but I have not had a breakfast in a long time.

hey i only eat one meal a day and i sem to be steady gaining weight:sad: i cant figure it out,, dw says its because that one meal starts iabout 7 am and runs through bedtime,,, and me not getting up and doing anything during the day except cook and eat..lol... drs say i gotta lose 50 lbs before he'll releaser me now:(

I wouldn't worry - when I was your age I used to forget to eat sometimes
I would just get too busy, and I was a really picky eater.
Just make sure what you do eat is healthy food.
Now that I'm much older, I wish it was still the case
:D

Thanks Yzma and Kronk. By the way I like your username! :)

I think not eating when you aren't hungry is a great thing. If you are losing weight and you want to, that should be cause for celebration. Maybe a glass of juice would help with the sad or low feeling you experience. Good luck with everything.

I'm like this too, but I'm going on 19 and have been like this for years. I eat very, very little and weigh in at around 8 stone (50 kilogrammes). I am 6 feet tall.

Yet I don't feel ill. I have a good immunity system, I can walk for a full day without tiring - I can do anything except put on weight.
