Is this allowed with Disney UK?

I have flights booked for Easter -12 days. I want to stay onsite in a value and 5-17 April is £924. However because of the deal on the Disney UK website if you book 14 days you get a gift card. So if I book 5-19 I still save about £100 as I get the $350 gift card (that's our food). However will it be a problem if I check out 2 days early? Will I muck up the magic express transfer to the airport? The disney tickets will be the same as I'm getting 14 day park passes anyway.
Any experience out there? (well I know you are all brimming with experience but anybody done this before?)

I cant imagine you will be able to get the ME transfer back as you are coming back 2 days earlier than the booking you are making and the bus is sorted in advance.

Other than the transfer I cant see that they can penalise you as you will have paid for it. I would give them a call to check the terms though:thumbsup2

Can't help you too much - but sure others can give you some help - only thing i can add is i'm not 100% sure you can use the $350 gift card on food - just something i'd double check!

I am sure you can, as the gift card can be used on anything in Disney. I would imagine that it is on your room charge anyway, so it will show as a credit on your room card.

if you go to the website www.disneygiftcard.com it gives more details on this card.

The only problem you might have, other than using the transfer back to the airport, is checking out? But it might not be a problem?:confused3

Whether or not it is allowed is besides the point. To me, it is a false economy. You're talking about spending an additional £154 that you don't need to spend in order to receive a $350 gift card which is worth approx £218. Therefore, your saving is technically only £60ish. Added to the fact that it would cause problems with your transfers (and your ME booking will be linked to your hotel booking, not your flights) it's really not worth the hassle of trying to 'play' the system for 60 quid.

Also, not sure if you've been to Disney World before or how many of you are travelling but I would question the fact that $350 is enough for food for 12 days if you plan on eating only onsite also.

I am of a similar view. Also you will have to fork out for the airport transfer as ME cannot be changed. Best case scenario: you MIGHT (unlikely) break even for a whole lot of extra hassle. And no, I don't think $350 will cover 2 weeks of food/drinks and snacks for 2 adults (and certainly not if there are more). You are better sticking to your original plan and knowing you are working to a plan that suits your needs. Hope it all works out great for you though, whatever you decide. :goodvibes

Can't you change your flight dates? :rotfl:

$350 would cover your food for maybe 3 days. So it really isn't worth the hassle. Just stick as you are.
