Is this allowed for Christmas

I was thinking buying a set of lights and stringing them on the railing at the YC. I have a water view so i though that would be pretty. do they alow that to be done?

Last December, Brisully and I strung a bunch of lights on our balcony at the Beach Club Villas. And we weren't the only ones decorating our balcony. And no one ever came around to tell us that we had to remove our lights. My advice is to go for it and be prepared for the unlikely event that Disney will ask you to take the lights down.

I was priviledged enough to see Towncrier's and Brisully's lights, they were beautiful!

We have done this at the contemporary for many years-- both Halloween and Christmas. The first year we did it was the year we got engaged at WDW and it has been a tradition ever since. We wrap the lights around the railing and run the extension cord inside. Just don't forget an extension cord!!! We also bring stockings and garland and really decorate the room. We get those 3M easily removable hooks to hang everything so it doesn't leave a mark. That first year, my DH mom even sent down a little christmas tree with little ornaments. It was so wonderful! Don't forget to take pictures from outside with your lights on
