Well, mixing family and business is always hard, especially when you have family with strong personalities. It sounds like feathers were ruffled on both sides and that brings out "Mr Ugly" in most people.

IMHO, it's not worth the minimum wage to work in that environment - I'm sure your DH will be fine if you don't want to work there any more. You don't even need to give a reason - just tell them you can't do it anymore.

Repeat after me: "Just can't do it anymore" "Just can't do it anymore" "Just can't do it anymore". They'll stop asking.

Update: I didn't go into work today. I still had not been able to get a hold of my niece. My dh was asked about why I wasn't there and phoned me to ask me to call my dn again. I finally relented and called her again. She answered the phone. She was sort of out of things as usual. She couldn't believe that the things I said went on went on but said okay. I then got a call from my brother who wanted to know what went on. I told him and told him that I was very upset. After talking for a while he actually APOLOGIZED. He has never said sorry to anyone. He also said he would talk to my nephew as well because I was right that was not good behaviour at work at all. I am in shock. He said sorry!!!!!! I am still not going in on Wed though and he was okay with that. Wow, thanks for all the courage you guys gave me. This is the first time I stood my ground and did not buckle.
