Is this a stupid idea

Hi all

I am planning next years trip which will be for my second trip and DW's third, we are taking along my Mum and Day, Sister, brother-in-law and three neices.

We are staying in a Villa 10 miles north west of Disney. Doing the usual Disney stuff (7 day pass), visiting Universal, seaworld and the water parks, along with shopping and downtown disney days.

Avarious member of the family want to visit a beach and/or Kennedy space centre, my question is thus.

Is visitingKennedy in the morning, Daytona Beach in the afternoon and Bubba Gumps, Daytona for evening meal a stupid idea and too much to do in one day?

We plan to have two 7 seater mini vans.

As ever any help is greatly appreciated.

From what i have read and what my DH said when he went to kennedy.It's at least a full day there.

He did say that it's so big you get a bus to the different part's,if that's the case i can't see you seeing much in just a morning.

Kennedy is definately a full day. Don't forget it takes about an hour to get there too. WE made the mistake of going to the astronaut hall of fame on the way & never saw all of kennedy as we ran out of time. THe bus tour part takes a good few hours if you do it properly, unlike us wholiterally ran round everything because we were running out of time!

Hiya

We went to Kennedy Space Centre, it really depends on whether you want to do the tours. If you chose not to do the tours it would be half a day and cheaper on the pocket. We chose all 3 tours it took most of the day up, to be honest we were bored after the 2nd tour and wished we hadnt booked all of them. I would check to see if you all want to any or all the tours. Yes you get to see a few more shuttles, taking off points, Cinema shows, but to be honest it got too much.
