Shark Reef is free, however it does require admission to Typhoon Lagoon

I had read in "Walt Disney World with Kids 2002" edition by Kim Wright Wiley about Shark Reef before we went to WDW and I had thought sharks were behind glass because of what the book says----momtolittlered said:I heard that at TL shark reef there is a glass bottom that seperates you from the sharks is this true?? Just curiours
Yes you do have to have admission to TL.Sammie said:Shark Reef is free, however it does require admission to Typhoon Lagoon

mommi97 said:Could you please tell me more about the rafts. I have a 2 and 4 year old that love the water but aren't good enough swimmers to make it across the tank. Two years ago they didn't have any rafts. We take them fishing all the time in the ocean and they love all the fish (even the sharks ) that we catch so I know they would love to see this!

"This is a saltwater pool where snorkelers swim 'among' exotic marine life, including sharks. The sharks are behind Plexiglas, of course, and are not too numerous, so anyone expecting the casting call for Jaws will be disappointed."

I don't really see the humor in laughing about something where a young girl lost her life, another his leg---I know it was meant to be funny and maybe that's just me but that seemed really inappropriate
