A co-worker of mine went to Wendy's a couple of times. She went to the drive-thru section. She told me that each time she went (it was the same store) they said "see you tomorrow" before she left.

I went once after that and they didn't do it.

Then I went to the one near my house and they said it there.

Has anyone had this said to them when they went through the Drive-thru?

If not pay attention next time and let us know.

the word "ploy" has a negative connotation, like they're trying to trick you into coming back tomorrow. I'd feel silly saying that, personally.

They say it here in Ohio....right down the road from Dublin.
I thought I was hearing things! I thought they must think pretty highly of themselves if they think I am coming back tomorrow.

But, when I work, we want something quick anddecent
we go to Wendys!
They know what they are doing!

That's pretty funny! I guess it's better than throwing your change at you and shorting you napkins! ;)

The only fast food I do anymore is Wendy's, Subway or Arby's because they have great customer service.

You must not be listening closely because I hear it all the time when I go to Wendy's... my guess is your mind is on the food Luis :p

I went to Wendy's this afternoon. They just said "come back and see us, have a nice day".

Doesn't anyone here go to Chik-Fil-A? I've never seen nicer people than the ones who work there.

i've never been through a wendy's drive through. i must say that's pretty darn funny though!

I am pretty sure I've never heard them say that at the Wendy's drive thru here. But Canada might have different marketing campaigns. I will pay very close attention next time, that's kinda funny, but I certainly don't think I've ever heard it before.

The most interesting "drive-thru" comment that I've ever had was a few weeks ago at a McDonalds... it was one of the ones where you order at the window and I pull up and the worker says something like "A fly isn't a fly unless it can fly... wouldn't you agree?" :p And then he was really funny through the whole order taking process.

LOL that kid must be inhaling too many fumes... happened to me when I worked the McD's drive-thru

we don't have a Chik-fil-a near us. I used to live in TX. and went to chik-fil-a at the mall.
From what I remember it was good.

I love Wendy's, but our Arby's has the dumbest people in the world working at it.

Lisa, there is a Chick-Fil-A at Tuttle Mall and several all over Columbus now. They've been here about 5 years now (give or take). It is an excellent place but my DH would never solely go there since they don't serve beef :teeth:

Never had that happen at Wendy's....they should be saying it to me at Wal-Mart:D

Wow - what an effective use of subliminal advertising!! Wonder if they paid an advertising firm big bucks for that idea??!!:D

So, did you go back to Wendy's today??;)

You know what's funny Pam? Coqui and I may just get that for dinner :teeth:

It worked then, Helenabear!!:D :D :D

Mermaid,
You should say, "Oh, are you doing deliveries now??":D
