Is this a longshot?

I have been trying for about a week to change my AAA rate at ASMo to AP with no luck. Do you think it is a longshot to get this? Each time I call they offer me ASSp, ASMu, and Pop, but with the age and people I'm traveling with nobody wants to switch resorts. Do I give up and just stick with the AAA or do I have a chance to get an AP rate at Movies?

You will find that they very rarely give alot of AP discounts for the rooms in the Movies, that resort is very popular and they know that they can fill with people paying full price.

I don't know, but I wanted a standard room at WL for our trip next week. I tried every day up until my 60 day deadline last fall. No luck. I booked rooms at AKL instead. I tried again when they changed to the new passholder discount recently, and got it! I could only get it for part of our stay, but I'm happy. The available choices seemed to change every day.

Good Luck!

thanks for the replies. I guess it doesn't hurt to keep trying, but I know it's a longshot. Usually we don't care about changing resorts to get a discount, but this trip is different because all of the people going are counting on staying at movies. :)
